Zebula Golf Estate & Spa | Limpopo, South Africa
September 2018
Last September (yes it’s only taken a year to finally post this album), my husband and I, along with some friends, took a trip to Zebula Golf Estate and Spa in Limpopo. An hour and a half’s drive out of Pretoria took us to dusty landscapes sprinkled with African game and the most beautiful stately lodge with all the finest finishings we could wish for.
The house itself was jaw-droppingly beautiful. Driving up we kept thinking this couldn’t be where WE were staying, but sure enough this piece of paradise was ours for the week. It was fitted with four spacious ensuite bedrooms, a twelve seater dining room, pool table, jacuzzi, outdoor braai area, infinity pool and sweeping views across the golf course and bush.
Our days were spent soaking up the sun around the pool, spending time out on the golf course and taking sunset game drives on golf carts to see the giraffes, waterbucks, impalas, monkeys and so many more beautiful African creatures.
What a treat to visit such an unassuming place with so much on offer. We could completely relax and disconnect or take advantage of all there was to do, depending on how we felt each day. Zebula is a bucket list trip that we would repeat again and again.
